Season 1: Eastbound and Down Chapter 2
Episode Guide / Summary
Instead of selling the jet ski, Kenny hides it at the lake claiming it was stolen by a “bunch of Pakistanis”. Now hurting for money, Kenny forces his self-proclaimed “star power” on local BMW dealer Ashley Shaeffer, getting him to agree to have Kenny Powers make a personal appearance in his showroom.
At the signing event, a loyal fan wants Kenny to “burn one in there for him”, but Kenny declines since he can no longer pitch in pressure situations. Kenny gets in an argument with Shaeffer for not throwing the pitch, punches the fan in the face, and leaves without collecting his appearance fee.
Now with nothing to do, Kenny and his hired driver for the night, Clegg, end up crashing the school dance after taking some ecstasy. At the dance Kenny professes his love for April, leading up to the famous dance to the re-mix of “A Fifth Of Beethoven”.
